Sandow And Carney Smash Each Other In Unbelievable Fight

A three-round bout between recent NRL players and boxing debutants Chris Sandow and Todd Carney finished in a majority draw.
Two judges scored it even and the other made Sandow a three-point winner.
Sandow and Carney, both of whom are looking for an NRL contract, showed plenty of purpose and intent in a spirited bout, but predictably rather less skill and guile than on the rugby league field.
Parramatta NRL forward Peni Terepo was stopped in the second round of his boxing debut by David Tuliloa.
Tamworth’s Kye MacKenzie won the Australian super lightweight title with a fourth round stoppage of previously unbeaten Dylan Emery and 2012 Olympian Jai Opetaia won the NSW heavyweight crown with a first round stoppage of Peter Brennan.
Veterans Tommy Browne and Samuel Colomban fought out a lively six round draw.
